Climate Science in a Nutshell: Complete Series

Over at Planet Nutshell we finally completed our series of 11 videos about Climate Science. We had a blast working on such an important subject matter and hope it shows in our work. This was our second collaboration with KUEN TV in Salt Lake City and it was a pleasure to work with them again. The project was funded by a grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

Below is episode 1, which is kind of like a trailer for the series. You can view the entire series at Planet Nutshell.

Climate Science in a Nutshell: episode 2

Planet Nutshell has been keeping me very busy over the past few months. We are currently working on a series of 11 videos explaining climate science. This is the first video we have completed and it explains the difference between climate and weather. It also provides an introductory look at Rapid Climate Change.

Style and palette was a major focus for the art department in this series. We took inspiration from magazine ads and illustrations from the 40's, illustrator Charley Harper, and from various approaches being used throughout the explainer video industry. We are very pleased with the final result and hope viewers are too.

The series can also be viewed at PlanetNutshell.com and was funded by a grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and was produced in collaboration with KUEN TV in Salt Lake City. KUEN has done a great job corralling all the resources and climate experts who have provided guidance for the series.
